Major Anthony Buxton was born on 2 September 1881.1 He was the son of Edward North Buxton and Emily Digby.2 He married Mary Philomena Constable-Maxwell, daughter of Hon. Bernard Constable-Maxwell and Hon. Alice Mary Charlotte Fraser, on 9 February 1926.1 He died on 9 August 1970 at age 88.1,3
