William Wallace of Elderslie1

     William Wallace of Elderslie was the son of William Wallace of Elderslie and Janet Hamilton of Ferguslie.2 He married Katherine Crawfurd, daughter of Hugh Crawfurd of Kilbirnie and Margaret Colquhoun.1 He died in July 1623.1
     He lived at Elderslie, Renfrewshire, Scotland.1

     Katherine Crawfurd was the daughter of Hugh Crawfurd of Kilbirnie and Margaret Colquhoun.2,3 She married William Wallace of Elderslie, son of William Wallace of Elderslie and Janet Hamilton of Ferguslie.1 She died between 24 June 1610 and 6 April 1611.1
     Her married name became Wallace.

Hugh Wallace of Elderslie1

     Hugh Wallace of Elderslie was the son of William Wallace of Elderslie and Helen (?)2 He married Hon. Isabel Sandilands, daughter of James Sandilands, 2nd Lord Torphichen and Elizabeth Heriot.2 He died, without issue.1
     In 1637 he was served heir.1 He sold Elderslie to Sir Thomas Wallace of Craigie, who conveyed them to his own son, Sir Thomas Wallace, who conveyed them to John Wallace, eldest son of William Wallace, of Glasgow, brother of John Wallace of Neilstounside in 1678.1

James Sandilands1

     James Sandilands was the son of Sir James Sandilands, 3rd of Calder.1 He died on 21 August 1451, assassinated for loyalty to King James II by Patrick Thornton.1
