     Baldwin Charles Wake-Walker was born on 7 January 1884.¹ He was the son of Sir Francis Elliot Wake-Walker, 3rd Bt. and Helen Constance Paris.² He married Mary Barnett, daughter of Frederick Peere Barnett and Susan Elizabeth Baker-Cresswell, on 22 November 1923.¹ He died on 9 April 1927 at age 43.
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹
