     From 13 December 1842, her married name became Douglas.1

     He was given the name of Robert Lambert Turner at birth.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 87th Fusiliers.1

Joseph Ellison Portlock was born on 30 September 1794 at Gosport, Hampshire, England.1 He was the son of Captain Nathaniel Portlock and Elizabeth Gilmour.2 He was baptised on 19 August 1795 at Gosport, Hampshire, England.2 He married Fanny Turner, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Charles Turner and Harriett Ann Stevenson.1 He married Julia Browne on 24 February 1831 at Kilmaine, County Mayo, Ireland.2 He died on 14 February 1864 at age 69 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Engineers.1

Charles Turner and Harriett Ann Stevenson.1 He married Helen Gzowski, daughter of Sir Casimir Stanislaus Gzowski and Maria M. Beebe, on 20 August 1863 at Toronto, Ontario, Canada.1 He died on 15 May 1888 at Dover, Kent, England.1 He was buried on 18 May 1888 at Dover, Kent, England.2
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Artillery.1
