Lewis Boyle, 1st Viscount Boyle of Kinalmeaky1

     Lewis Boyle, 1st Viscount Boyle of Kinalmeaky was born on 28 May 1619.1 He was the son of Richard Boyle, 1st Earl of Cork and Catherine Fenton.1 He married Elizabeth Feilding, Countess of Guildford, daughter of William Feilding, 1st Earl of Denbigh and Susan Villiers, on 26 December 1639 at Chapel Royal, Whitehall, London, EnglandG.2 He died on 2 September 1642 at age 23 at Liscarroll, IrelandG, killed in action, without issue.2 He was buried at Lismore, IrelandG.2
     Lewis Boyle, 1st Viscount Boyle of Kinalmeaky also went by the nick-name of Lewis 'the Valiant'.1 He was created 1st Baron of Bandon Bridge, co. Cork [Ireland] on 28 February 1627/28, with a special remainder to the heirs of his father.1 He was created 1st Viscount Boyle of Kinalmeaky, co. Cork [Ireland] on 28 February 1627/28, with a special remainder to the heirs of his father.1 He was appointed Knight on 1 April 1628.1 He was admitted to Gray's Inn on 17 March 1635/36.1 He held the office of Governor of Bandon.2 He fought in the Battle of Liscarrol on 2 September 1642.2

     Catherine Fenton was the daughter of Sir Geoffrey Fenton and Alice Weston.1,2 She married Richard Boyle, 1st Earl of Cork, son of Roger Boyle and Joan Naylor, on 25 July 1603 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2 She died on 16 February 1629 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2 She was buried on 11 March 1629 at St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2
     From 25 July 1603, her married name became Boyle. After her marriage, Catherine Fenton was styled as Baroness Boyle on 6 May 1616. After her marriage, Catherine Fenton was styled as Countess of Cork on 16 October 1620.

She was the daughter of Captain William Apsley and Annabella Browne.1 She married Richard Boyle, 1st Earl of Cork, son of Roger Boyle and Joan Naylor, on 6 November 1595 at Limerick, County Limerick, IrelandG.1 She died on 14 December 1599 at Moyallow, IrelandG, in childbed, without surviving issue.1 She was buried at Church of Buttevant, Buttevant, County Cork, IrelandG.1
     Her married name became Boyle.

     Robert Digby, 3rd Baron Digby was born on 30 April 1654.1 He was the son of Kildare Digby, 2nd Baron Digby and Mary Gardiner.1 He died on 29 December 1677 at age 23, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Digby, of Geashill, King's County [I., 1620] on 11 July 1661.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Warwick between May 1677 and December 1677.1

     Simon Digby, 4th Baron Digby was born on 18 July 1657.2 He was the son of Kildare Digby, 2nd Baron Digby and Mary Gardiner.2 He married Lady Frances Noel, daughter of Edward Noel, 1st Earl of Gainsborough and Lady Elizabeth Wriothesley, on 27 August 1683.3 He died on 19 January 1685 at age 27.2
     He succeeded as the 4th Baron Digby, of Geashill, King's County [I., 1620] on 29 July 1677.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Warwick from 1685 to 1686.2

     Lady Frances Noel was the daughter of Edward Noel, 1st Earl of Gainsborough and Lady Elizabeth Wriothesley.1 She married Simon Digby, 4th Baron Digby, son of Kildare Digby, 2nd Baron Digby and Mary Gardiner, on 27 August 1683.1 She died on 29 September 1684.1
     After her marriage, Lady Frances Noel was styled as Baroness Digby on 27 August 1683. From 27 August 1683, her married name became Digby.1

     From 7 March 1706, her married name became Scudamore.3
