     Stair Hathorn-Stewart married, secondly, Helen Sinclair, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir John Sinclair of Ulbster, 1st Bt. and Diana Macdonald, on 10 August 1826.1 He married, thirdly, Jane Rothes Maitland in 1846.
     He lived at Physgill, Wigtownshire, ScotlandG.2 He lived at Glasserton, Wigtownshire, ScotlandG.2
