Peter Talbot was born on 29 June 1620.1 He was the son of Sir William Talbot, 1st Bt. and Alison Netterville.2 He died after 23 October 1680, in prison.1
He was a royalist agent and envoy during Interregnum.1 He was Almoner to Queen Catherine of Braganza.1 He was a Jesuit priest.1 He held the office of Archbishop of Dublin in 1669.1 In October 1678 he was imprisoned for supposed complicity in the ‘Popish Plot.1'

Sir Gilbert Talbot was the son of Sir William Talbot, 1st Bt. and Alison Netterville.2 He married, secondly, Lady Dorothy Boyle, daughter of Richard Boyle, 1st Earl of Cork and Catherine Fenton, in 1665.2 He died circa 1674.1
He was a royalist agent in Antwerp during Interregnum posing as ‘Monsieur Burford.1' He gained the rank of Colonel in the troop of Confederate Irish in Civil War.1
