     Sir George Strickland, 5th Bt. was born in March 1729.¹ He was the son of Sir William Strickland, 4th Bt. and Catherine Sambrooke.³ He married Elizabeth Letitia Winn, daughter of Sir Rowland Winn, 4th Bt. and Susanna Henshaw, on 25 November 1751.¹ He died on 13 January 1808 at age 78.³
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Strickland, of Boynton, co. York [E., 1641] on 1 September 1735.¹

     Geraldine Ysolda Moylan was the daughter of John F. Moylan and Ysolda Mary N. FitzGerald. She married Air Vice-Marshal John Frederick Powell, son of Reverend Morgan Powell, in 1939.² She died in 2003.³

     From 25 November 1751, her married name became Strickland.

     Sir William Strickland, 6th Bt. was born on 12 March 1753.² He is the son of Sir George Strickland, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Letitia Winn.² He married Henrietta Cholmley, daughter of Nathaniel Cholmley and Henrietta Catherine Croft, on 15 April 1778.² He died on 8 January 1834 at age 80.²
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Strickland, of Boynton, co. York [E., 1641] on 13 January 1808.¹

     George Strickland was born on 30 November 1760.¹ He was the son of Sir George Strickland, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Letitia Winn.² He married Jane Eleanor Craggs, daughter of Christopher Craggs, on 25 September 1792.¹ He died on 5 June 1832 at age 71.¹
