Rt. Rev. Sir Lovelace Tomlinson Stamer, 3rd Bt. was born on 18 October 1829.1 He was the son of Sir Lovelace Stamer, 2nd Bt. and Caroline Tomlinson.2 He married Ellen Isabel Dent, daughter of Joseph Dent, on 16 April 1857.1 He died on 29 October 1908 at age 79.1
He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Stamer [U.K., 1809] on 5 March 1860.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1 He held the office of Bishop Suffragan of Shrewsbury between 1885 and 1905.1
