     Rosemary Frances Cross is the daughter of Commander Geoffrey John Assheton Cross and Gertrude Mary Garratt.¹ She married David Richard Andrew Quicke, son of Captain Noel Arthur Godolphin Quicke and Constance May Shelley, in 1954.¹
     From 1954, her married name became Quicke.¹

     Commander Geoffrey John Assheton Cross was born on 8 May 1897.¹ He was the son of Admiral Charles Henry Cross and Edith Grace Mackintosh.¹ He married Gertrude Mary Garratt.¹ He died on 19 July 1965 at age 68.¹

     Lady Joan de Stafford was the daughter of Hugh de Stafford, 2nd Earl of Stafford and Philippa de Beauchamp.² She married Thomas de Holand, 1st and last Duke of Surrey, son of Thomas de Holand, 2nd/5th Earl of Kent and Lady Alice FitzAlan, circa 20 October 1392.¹ She died between 30 September 1442 and 1 October 1442, without issue.¹
     After her marriage, Lady Joan de Stafford was styled as Countess of Kent on 26 April 1397. After her marriage, Lady Joan de Stafford was styled as Duchess of Surrey on 29 September 1397.
