     Maj.-Gen. Sir James Marshall Stewart married Barbara Marion Addington, daughter of Hon. Leonard Allen Addington and Laetitia Clark, on 26 August 1897.1 He died on 20 July 1943.
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the 5th Royal Gurkha Rifles.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1

Hon. Hiley Robert Addington1

     Hon. Hiley Robert Addington was born on 4 April 1830.1 He was the son of William Leonard Addington, 2nd Viscount Sidmouth and Mary Young.2 He died on 11 May 1857 at age 27, killed in the Indian Rebellion.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the 74th Punjab Infantry.1

Maj.-Gen. Hon. Charles John Addington1

     Maj.-Gen. Hon. Charles John Addington was born on 17 March 1832.1 He was the son of William Leonard Addington, 2nd Viscount Sidmouth and Mary Young.2 He married Nelly Hindmarsh Mundy, daughter of Alfred Miller Mundy, on 5 August 1862.1 He died on 11 September 1903 at age 71, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the 38th Regiment.1 He fought in the Crimean War, where he was severely wounded.1 He fought in the Indian Mutiny.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 100th Regiment between 1871 and 1877.1 He was Colonel of the 35th Regimental District between 1877 and 1883.1 He was AA&QMG between 1884 and 1885.1 He was Colonel of the troops in Shorncliffe between 1885 and 1886.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Devonshire Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Major-General.1

     From 5 August 1862, her married name became Addington.

     From 15 April 1841, her married name became Seton.

     He lived at Treskerby, Cornwall, England.1
