     Lt.-Col. Alan Francis Fletcher was the son of Charles John Fletcher.1 He married Lady Theresa Evelyn Vilunza Wentworth-Fitzwilliam, daughter of William FitzWilliam, Viscount Milton and Laura Maria Theresa Beauclerk, on 9 December 1908.1 He died on 16 October 1964.1
     He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 17th Lancers.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1
