     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Dragoons.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Blues and Royals.1

     Robert Donald Harman was born on 26 September 1928.2 He was the son of Herbert Donald Harman.3 He married, firstly, Sarah Cleverly.2 He married, secondly, Rosamond Geraldine Scott, daughter of Geoffrey Thomas Archibald Scott and Geraldine Amelia Watt, on 21 February 1968.1 He died on 30 September 2022 at age 94 at Over Walop, Hampshire, England.2
     He was appointed King's Counsel (K.C.)2 He was a practising barrister.2

     From May 1919, her married name became Hanbury.
