     George Meldrum of Drumbreck married Hon. Margaret Abernethy, daughter of Alexander Abernethy, 6th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Lady Alison Keith, in 1582.¹

     Hon. Jean Abernethy is the daughter of Alexander Abernethy, 6th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Lady Alison Keith.² She married, firstly, Alexander Seton of Meldrum, younger, son of William Seton of Meldrum and Janet Gordon, in 1579.² She married, secondly, John Urquhart of Craigfintray, son of Alexander Urquhart of Cromarty and Beatrice Innes, in 1595 at Saltoun, East Lothian, Scotland.¹ She died before 1610.
     From 1579, her married name became Seton. From 1595, her married name became Urquhart.¹

     John Urquhart of Craigfintray was born in 1547.² He is the son of Alexander Urquhart of Cromarty and Beatrice Innes.² He married, firstly, Elizabeth Gordon, daughter of John Gordon of Cairnburrow, circa 1580.² He married, secondly, Hon. Jean Abernethy, daughter of Alexander Abernethy, 6th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Lady Alison Keith, in 1595 at Saltoun, East Lothian, Scotland.¹ He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Seton, daughter of Alexander Seton of Meldrum, younger, in 1610. He died on 8 November 1631.²
     He was Tutor of Cromarty.² He inherited Castle Craig from brother Thomas.² Between 1604 and 1607 he built Craigston Castle, Aberdeenshire.²
