     Virginia Eleanor Consett Stephen was the daughter of Montague Consett Stephen.² She married Lt.-Col. Thomas William Carre-Riddell, son of John Carre Riddell and Mary Anne Sibella Stephen, on 23 February 1886.¹ She died in 1898.¹
     From 23 February 1886, her married name became Carre-Riddell.
