     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Indian Army and Royal Air Force.¹

     Barbara Reynolds was the daughter of Sir James Philip Reynolds, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Emilia Leila Roskell.² She married Gerald Cyril Russell, son of Cyril Russell and Helen Mary Pirie, on 3 October 1923.¹ She died in 1985.²

     Gerald Cyril Russell was born on 12 January 1896.² He is the son of Cyril Russell and Helen Mary Pirie.² He married Barbara Reynolds, daughter of Sir James Philip Reynolds, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Emilia Leila Roskell, on 3 October 1923.¹ He died on 3 March 1962 at age 66.²
     He was educated at Beaumont College, Old Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He gained the rank of Temporary Major in the Royal Field Artillery.² He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)² He was a practising solicitor in 1921.² He was senior partner of Charles Russell & Company.²

     Rhoda Clare Reynolds was the daughter of Sir James Philip Reynolds, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Emilia Leila Roskell.² She died in 1993.¹
