     Catherine Anne Phipps is the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Unknown Phipps and Jane MacLeod.2,1 She married Sir George Prevost, 1st Bt., son of Maj.-Gen. Augustine Prevost and Anne Margaret Grand, on 19 May 1789.1
     From 17 May 1789, her married name became Prevost.1

     Venerable Sir George Prevost, 2nd Bt. was born on 20 August 1804.1 He was the son of Sir George Prevost, 1st Bt. and Catherine Anne Phipps.2 He married Jane Williams, daughter of Isaac Lloyd Williams, on 18 March 1828.1 He died on 18 March 1893 at age 88.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Prevost, of Belmont, Hampshire [U.K., 1805] on 5 January 1816.1 He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was the Vicar at Stinchcombe, Gloucestershire, England.1 He held the office of Canon of Gloucester.1 He held the office of Archdeacon of Gloucester between 1865 and 1881.1

     Jane Williams was the daughter of Isaac Lloyd Williams.2 She married Venerable Sir George Prevost, 2nd Bt., son of Sir George Prevost, 1st Bt. and Catherine Anne Phipps, on 18 March 1828.1 She died on 17 January 1853.1
     From 18 March 1828, her married name became Prevost.1

George Phipps Prevost1

     George Phipps Prevost was born on 10 November 1830.1 He was the son of Venerable Sir George Prevost, 2nd Bt. and Jane Williams.2 He married Charlotte Arabella Anderson, daughter of Sir Charles Henry John Anderson, 9th Bt. and Emma Foljambe, on 26 April 1862.1 He died on 27 March 1885 at age 54, without issue and in the lifetime of the father.1
     He fought in the Crimean War, he received a medal and clasp and Turkish medal.1 He gained the rank of Assistant Adjunt and Quartermaster-General in the Home District.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 23rd Royal Welch Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Siege of Lucknow, he was wounded and received a medal and clasp.1

     Charlotte Arabella Anderson was born on 13 July 1833.2 She was the daughter of Sir Charles Henry John Anderson, 9th Bt. and Emma Foljambe.3 She was baptised on 23 September 1833.2 She married George Phipps Prevost, son of Venerable Sir George Prevost, 2nd Bt. and Jane Williams, on 26 April 1862.1 She died on 8 October 1910 at age 77.1
     From 26 April 1862, her married name became Prevost.1

     Sir Charles Prevost, 3rd Bt. was born on 15 December 1831.1 He was the son of Venerable Sir George Prevost, 2nd Bt. and Jane Williams.2 He married Sarah Margaret Keble, daughter of Reverend Thomas Keble and Elizabeth Jane (?), on 22 January 1856.1 He died on 24 November 1902 at age 70.1
     He fought in the Crimea War, he was wounded and received a medal and clasp and Turkish medal.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 31st Regiment.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Prevost, of Belmont, Hampshire [U.K., 1805] on 18 March 1893.1
