Ann Carol Bagehot was born on 14 October 1944.1 She is the daughter of Christopher Pollock Bagehot and Joan Marjorie Davis.2
She was educated at Loreto Convent School, Nairobi, Kenya.1 She was educated at Nursery School College, Johannesburg, South Africa.1 She was a nursery school manager between 1964 and 1967.1 She was the National Gypsy Liaison Officer for the Save the Children Fund between 1969 and 1994.1 She was secretary of the Gypsy Council.1 She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 2000.1 She lived at 40 Greenford Road, Harrow, Middlesex, England.1

Henry Pollock was born on 17 February 1826.1 He was the son of Sir Frederick Pollock, 1st Bt. and Frances Rivers.2 He married Amelia Bailey, daughter of Charles Bailey, on 2 February 1860.1 He died on 15 May 1889 at age 63.1
