     Thomas Pile was born on 27 July 1819.¹ He was the son of James Phillips Pile and Sarah Hawkins.² He married Anne Poole, daughter of George Poole, on 4 May 1848.¹ He died on 26 April 1899 at age 79.¹
     They also had other issue.¹ He lived at Sandymount, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹

     George Poole lived at Tenby, Wales.¹

     Anne Poole was the daughter of George Poole.² She married Thomas Pile, son of James Phillips Pile and Sarah Hawkins, on 4 May 1848.¹ She died on 27 October 1872.¹
     From 4 May 1848, her married name became Pile.¹ They also had other issue.¹

     Sir Thomas Devereux Pile, 1st Bt. was born on 27 February 1856.¹ He was the son of Thomas Pile and Anne Poole.² He married Caroline Maude Nicholson, daughter of John Mann Nicholson, on 3 May 1882.¹ He died on 17 January 1931 at age 74.¹
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County and City of Dublin.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Dublin in 1898.¹ He held the office of Lord Mayor of Dublin in 1900.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Pile, of Kenilworth House, Rathgar, co. Dublin [U.K.] on 24 September 1900.¹

     John Mann Nicholson lived at Rathgar, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Caroline Maude Nicholson was the daughter of John Mann Nicholson.² She married Sir Thomas Devereux Pile, 1st Bt., son of Thomas Pile and Anne Poole, on 3 May 1882.¹ She died on 20 May 1948.¹
     From 3 May 1882, her married name became Pile.¹

     Major Walter Devereux Pile was born on 24 January 1887.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Devereux Pile, 1st Bt. and Caroline Maude Nicholson.² He married Margaret Lucy Bonner, daughter of Thomas Irvine Bonner, on 14 September 1921.¹ He died on 1 November 1959 at age 72.¹
     He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Field Artillery (Special Reserve.)¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.¹ He was awarded the Order of the Crown (Belgium.)¹

     Thomas Irvine Bonner graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹ He graduated with a Master in Surgery (C.M.)¹ He lived at Shipley, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Margaret Lucy Bonner was the daughter of Thomas Irvine Bonner.² She married Major Walter Devereux Pile, son of Sir Thomas Devereux Pile, 1st Bt. and Caroline Maude Nicholson, on 14 September 1921.¹ She died in 1989.¹
     From 14 September 1921, her married name became Pile.¹ She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1961.¹

     Margaret Patricia Devereux Pile was born on 5 January 1923.¹ She is the daughter of Major Walter Devereux Pile and Margaret Lucy Bonner.²
     She graduated from London University, London, England^G, in 1946 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹
