     John Wedderburn was born on 8 January 1798.¹ He was the son of John Wedderburn and Mary Wisdom Bedward.² He married Helen Ogilvy, daughter of Walter Ogilvy, Earl of Airlie and Jean Ogilvy, on 30 April 1823.¹ He died on 2 April 1839 at age 41.¹

     Lt.-Col. John Walter Wedderburn was born on 20 July 1824.¹ He was the son of John Wedderburn and Helen Ogilvy.² He married Margaret Anne Whaite, daughter of Thomas Whaite, on 27 April 1854.¹ He died on 20 July 1879 at age 55.¹
     He was Captain.¹

     Thomas Whaite gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 94th Regiment.¹

     Margaret Anne Whaite was the daughter of Thomas Whaite.² She married Lt.-Col. John Walter Wedderburn, son of John Wedderburn and Helen Ogilvy, on 27 April 1854.¹ She died in 1926.¹
     From 27 April 1854, her married name became Wedderburn.

     Reverend John Walter Maurice Wedderburn was born on 17 March 1855.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Walter Wedderburn and Margaret Anne Whaite.² He died in 1934, unmarried.¹
     He lived at St. Bride's, Onich, Nether Lochabar, Scotland, Rector.¹ He was Chaplain to the Bishop of Argyll.¹ He held the office of Canon of Cumbrae Cathedral.¹

     Charles David St. Clair Wedderburn was born on 7 February 1864.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Walter Wedderburn and Margaret Anne Whaite.² He married Louisa Mary Whaite, daughter of Major J. E. Whaite, on 31 August 1898.¹ He died on 3 February 1931 at age 66.¹
     He was Chief Mechanical Engineer, East Indian Railway.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.¹

     Louisa Mary Whaite was the daughter of Major J. E. Whaite.² She married Charles David St. Clair Wedderburn, son of Lt.-Col. John Walter Wedderburn and Margaret Anne Whaite, on 31 August 1898.¹ She died on 2 November 1931.¹
     From 31 August 1898, her married name became Wedderburn.
