Thomas Nugent was the son of Pierce Fitzgerald and Christina Nugent.2 He married Mary Dardis, daughter of Christopher Dardis.1 He died in 1810, drowned in the Monkey, a gun-brig, cruising off the coast of France.1

Sir Percy Nugent, 1st Bt. was born on 29 September 1797.1 He was the son of Thomas Nugent and Mary Dardis.2 He married Elizabeth Maria Eleanor Sweetman, daughter of Walter Sweetman, on 1 May 1823.1 He died on 25 June 1874 at age 76.1
He was given the name of Percy Fitzgerald at birth.1 He was created 1st Baronet Nugent, of Donore, co. Westmeath [U.K.] on 30 September 1831.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Westmeath.1

Sir Walter George Nugent, 2nd Bt. was born on 23 January 1827.1 He is the son of Sir Percy Nugent, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Maria Eleanor Sweetman.2 He married Maria More O'Ferrall, daughter of Rt. Hon. Richard More O'Ferrall and Hon. Matilda Maria Southwell, on 19 July 1860.1 He died on 26 February 1893 at age 66.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the 33rd Regiment.1 He fought in the Crimean War, at Alma, Inkerman and Balaclav.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Nugent, of Donore, co. Westmeath [U.K., 1831] on 25 June 1874.1
