Clement Octavius Edward Nicholson was born on 7 August 1874.1 He was the son of William Nicholson and Isabella Sarah Meek.2 He married Judith Lilian Burnaby-Atkins, daughter of Thomas Frederick Burnaby-Atkins, on 30 December 1913.1 He died on 4 January 1930 at age 55.1
