     Charles Augustus MacAlister was born in 1883.1 He was the son of Matthew Charles Brodie MacAlister, 3rd of Genbarr and Cour and Augusta Lees.1 He died in 1911 at Peking, China, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Cameron Highlanders.1
