     Maj.-Gen. Philip Geoffrey Whitefoord was born on 24 September 1894.2 He was the son of Reverend Philip Whitefoord and Gertrude Relton Harding.1 He married, firstly, Sheila Graham, daughter of Edward Graham, in 1924 at Calcutta, IndiaG.2 He and Sheila Graham were divorced in 1929.2 He married, secondly, Helen Marjorie Lord, daughter of Arthur Edward Lord and Helen Julia Bramwell, on 11 December 1930.2 He died on 28 October 1975 at age 81 at Sudbury, Suffolk, England.3
     He was educated at St. John's School, Leatherhead, Surrey, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Realgymnasium, Stuttgart, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.2 He was commissioned in 1912 with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, in the service of the 3rd Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment.2 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1914 in the Royal Field Artillery.2 He fought in the First World War, in France and Belgium, and was mentioned in despatches twice.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.2 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1923.2 He was admitted to Gray's Inn in 1930 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.2 He fought in the Second World War, with the BEF in France.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1940.2 In 1941 he unsuccessfully claimed the dormant Baronetcy of Whitefoord of Blairquahan.2 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in 1942 in the VIII Corps.2 He gained the rank of Major-General in 1943 in the COSSAC, Intelligence Corps.2 He gained the rank of Acting Major-General in 1943 in the BGS Scottish Command.2 He was COS of the Allied Land Force, Norway between 1944 and 1945.2 He was awarded the Commander, Order of St. Olav of Norway.2 He was County Commandant, West Suffolk Special Constabulary between 1950 and 1965.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk between 1957 and 1965.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Suffolk in 1962.2

     Colonel Hugh Penry Whitefoord was born on 3 February 1901.1 He was the son of Reverend Philip Whitefoord and Gertrude Relton Harding.1 He married Helen Bertha Adele Hill, daughter of William Ellis Hill, on 17 January 1931.1 He died on 26 July 1991 at age 90 at Exeter, Devon, England.2
     He was educated at Karlsgymnasium, Stuttgart, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.1 He was educated at St. John's School, Leatherhead, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War in 1945.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1953.1 He retired from the military in 1953, with the rank of Colonel, late of the Royal Artillery.1 He lived at The Old House, 24 Windsor Square, Exmouth, Devon, EnglandG.1
