Sir Michael Frederic Rimington and Agnes Cunningham, on 1 April 1926.1 She died on 2 January 1971 at age 69.1

Brigadier Reginald Gordon Ward Rimington was born on 12 November 1891.2 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Michael Frederic Rimington and Agnes Cunningham.1,3 He married Irene Beatrice Shaw-Stewart, daughter of Walter Richard Shaw-Stewart and Mary Beatrice Sydney Lane, on 1 April 1926.1 He died on 10 April 1941 at age 49, from wounds received in action, after being taken prisoner in North Africa.1,3
He gained the rank of Brigadier in the 6th Dragoons, Royal Tank Regiment.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
