Amy Maria Hough was the daughter of Joseph Hough.2 She married Evelyn Pierrepont Erskine, son of Hon. James Augustus Erskine and Elizabeth Bogue Brodie, in 1897.1 She died in 1959.1

Gratney Pierrepont Erskine was born on 2 October 1911 at Bunbury, Western Australia, Australia.1,2 He was the son of Evelyn Pierrepont Erskine and Amy Maria Hough.3 He married, firstly, Elsie Evelyn Nutall, daughter of I. Nutall, in 1931.1 He and Elsie Evelyn Nutall were divorced in 1935.1 He married, secondly, Beth Rosemary Kenworthy, daughter of William Henry Kenworthy, on 21 September 1940.1 He died on 28 March 1989 at age 77.4
He gained the rank of Warrant Officer in the Australian Imperial Forces.2 He fought in the Second World War between 1942 and 1944.1 He lived at 12 Devon Road, Swanbourne, Western Australia, AustraliaG.1
