     Guillaume IX 'le Vieux' d'Auvergne, Comte d'Auvergne was born circa 1100.² He was the son of Guillaume VII d'Auvergne and Emma de Hauteville.² He married Anne de Nevers, daughter of Guillaume II de Nevers, Comte de Nevers and Adelais (?).¹ He died in 1182.²

     Guy de Forez married Maud de Courtenay, Comtesse de Nevers, daughter of Pierre II Seigneur de Courtenay Emperor of Constantinople and Agnes de Nevers, in 1226.¹

     Adelaide Bourgogne, Comtesse d'Auxerre was born in 1254.¹ She was the daughter of Eudes de Bourgogne, Comte de Nevers and Mathilda de Bourbon.¹ She married Jean de Chalon, Lord of Chalon in 1268.¹ She died in 1290.¹

     Jean de Chalon, Lord of Chalon married Adelaide Bourgogne, Comtesse d'Auxerre, daughter of Eudes de Bourgogne, Comte de Nevers and Mathilda de Bourbon, in 1268.¹ He died in 1309.¹
