Caroline Thomson was the daughter of Lt.-Col. George Thomson.2 She married Colonel Kenelm Digby Murray, son of Sir John Digby Murray of Blackbarony, 10th Bt. and Frances Bold, on 23 May 1870.1 She died on 13 February 1927.1

Lt.-Col. Archibald Digby Murray was born on 30 April 1878.1 He was the son of Colonel Kenelm Digby Murray and Caroline Thomson.2 He married Rosamund Davey, daughter of Thomas Davey, on 2 October 1905.1 He died on 21 August 1949 at age 71.1
He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.1 He fought in the Waziristan Campaign between 1901 and 1902.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded and was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1919.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1

R.-Adml. David Walker Hewitt, in 1977.1 He died on 17 August 1995 at age 87.1
