     Maj.-Gen. Sir Michael O'Moore Creagh was the son of General Sir Garrett O'Moore Creagh, V.C. and Mary Letitia Longfield Brereton.2 He married Jean Helen McGrigor, daughter of Sir James Rhoderic Duff McGrigor, 3rd Bt. and Helen Cornell Meiggs, on 2 January 1926.1 He died on 14 December 1970.3
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the 15th/19th Hussars.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1942, in the Middle East, and he was mentioned in despatches.1

     Amabel Caroline Somers Cocks was born on 12 August 1890.2 She was the daughter of Edward Lygon Somers Cocks and Amabel Jemima Watson-Copley.3,1 She married Lt.-Col. Sir Charles Colquhoun McGrigor, 4th Bt., son of Sir James Rhoderic Duff McGrigor, 3rd Bt. and Helen Cornell Meiggs, on 7 January 1919.1 She died in 1977.1
     From 7 January 1919, her married name became McGrigor.

     James Neil McGrigor was born on 8 March 1920.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Charles Colquhoun McGrigor, 4th Bt. and Amabel Caroline Somers Cocks.2 He died on 27 November 1941 at age 21 at Egypt, killed in action.1,3
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.1
