     Gregor MacGregor was the son of Iain MacGregor of Glenorchy, 2nd Chief of Clan Gregor.2 He died in 1415.1
     Gregor MacGregor also went by the nick-name of Gregor 'Aluin' (or in English, ‘The Handsome.1')

Gregor Patrickson MacGregor1

     Gregor Patrickson MacGregor was the son of Patrick MacGregor.2 He died on 6 March 1547.1
     In 1519 he probably became rightful Chief of the Clan Gregor but the Campbells promoted instead the Gregarach chieftain of the Clan Dugall Ciar.1 In 1528 nevertheless he acted as leader of the clan during the next Chief's long minority and his descendants recovered the chiefship after 1774.1

     Lionel Ernest St. Quintin was born on 17 April 1902 at Wimbledon, Surrey, England.1 He was the son of Ernest Edward St. Quintin and Lilian Maude Payne.1 He died in 1971 at Ipswich, Suffolk, England.1

Duncan 'Beg' MacGregor1

     Duncan 'Beg' MacGregor was the son of Duncan MacGregor.2 He married Margaret Cameron, daughter of Sir Ewen Cameron of Lochiel, 17th Chief of Clan Cameron, on 26 March 1686.1 He died before 23 December 1743.1
     He was ancestor of the MacGregors of Ror in Glenlyon, of whom the Jacobite agent Alasdir Mac Gregor of Balhaldie alias Drummond (chosen as 17th Chief in 1714), assumed the style of Chief of the Clan Gregor but was not recognised by the Government, nor did he matriculate as Chief in the Lyon register.1 He fought in the Jacobite Uprising in 1715.1 He was created 1st Baronet MacGregor [Nova Scotia] on 14 March 1740, Jacobite.1
