Richard Levinge Colthurst Scott was born on 28 June 1915.1 He was the son of Charles Scott and Violet Frances Levinge.2 He married Peggy Amelia Parfitt, daughter of Percy Albert Parfitt, in 1946.1 He died on 22 May 1994 at age 78 at Dorset, England.3
He graduated from Downing College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1937 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the Second World War, he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Army Service Corps.1
