     Alexander Wellesley Grant Leith-Buchanan was born on 29 April 1890.¹ He was the son of Sir Alexander Wellesley George Thomas Leith-Buchanan, 5th Bt. and Agnes Maude Mary Grant.² He died on 29 January 1943 at age 52, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 9th Battalion, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.¹

     George Hector Leith-Buchanan was born on 25 January 1871.¹ He was the son of Sir George Hector Leith-Buchanan, 4th Bt. and Eliza Caroline Tod.² He married Mathilda Mary Charlotte Bourke, daughter of Isadore McWilliam Bourke, on 22 September 1904.¹ He died on 30 January 1948 at age 77.¹
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Machine Gun Corps.¹

     Isadore McWilliam Bourke lived at Curragh Leigh, County Mayo, Ireland.¹ He lived at Rahasane, County Galway, Ireland.¹

     Mathilda Mary Charlotte Bourke was the daughter of Isadore McWilliam Bourke.² She married George Hector Leith-Buchanan, son of Sir George Hector Leith-Buchanan, 4th Bt. and Eliza Caroline Tod, on 22 September 1904.¹ She died on 8 February 1908, without issue.¹
     From 22 September 1904, her married name became Leith-Buchanan.

     James Macdonald Buchanan Leith-Buchanan was born on 11 November 1872.¹ He was the son of Sir George Hector Leith-Buchanan, 4th Bt. and Eliza Caroline Tod.² He married Katie Isabel Porter, daughter of George E. Porter, on 23 August 1905.¹ He died on 2 June 1946 at age 73.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Territorial Forces Reserve.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.¹ He was with the recruiting staff between 1916 and 1919.¹

     John Wellesley Macdonald Leith-Buchanan was born on 22 May 1908.¹ He was the son of James Macdonald Buchanan Leith-Buchanan and Katie Isabel Porter.² He married, firstly, Jane Elizabeth Macdonald McNicol, daughter of Ronald McNicol, on 26 June 1939.¹ He and Jane Elizabeth Macdonald McNicol were divorced in 1947.¹ He married, secondly, Isabel Sim Cumming Fraser, daughter of A.W. Fraser, on 12 January 1947.¹ He died in 1956.¹
     He gained the rank of Able Seaman in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Ronald McNicol lived at Wick, Scotland.¹

     Jane Elizabeth Macdonald McNicol was the daughter of Ronald McNicol.² She married John Wellesley Macdonald Leith-Buchanan, son of James Macdonald Buchanan Leith-Buchanan and Katie Isabel Porter, on 26 June 1939.¹ She and John Wellesley Macdonald Leith-Buchanan were divorced in 1947.¹ She died in 1955.¹
