Sir Edmund Arthur Lechmere, 4th Bt. was born on 21 September 1865.1 He was the son of Sir Edmund Anthony Harley Lechmere, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Katherine Haigh.2 He married, firstly, Alice Samuels, daughter of Edward Samuels, in 1885.1 He married, secondly, Katherine Wright, daughter of Edward Peyton Wright, on 1 March 1897.1 He died on 21 May 1937 at age 71.1
He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Lechmere, of The Rhydd, co. Worcester [U.K., 1818] on 18 December 1894.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Worcestershire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Worcestershire in 1900.1
