Hon. Olive Shirley Layton was born on 18 December 1918.1 She was the daughter of Walter Thomas Layton, 1st Baron Layton and Eleanor Dorothea Osmaston.2 She married Peter Gellhorn, son of Dr. Alfred Gellhorn, on 18 May 1943.1 She died on 22 June 2009 at age 90.3
