     Leonard Norman Pardoe was the son of W. A. L. Pardoe.¹ He married Mary Elise Petre, daughter of Captain William Petre and Margaret Gwladys Bruce, in July 1951.¹ He died on 2 September 2009.²

     Sebastian William Joseph Pardoe was born on 11 August 1956.¹ He is the son of Leonard Norman Pardoe and Mary Elise Petre.¹ He married Amanda Walley in 1980.¹

     Captain Bernard Francis Petre was born on 5 December 1891.² He was the son of Sebastian Henry Petre and Elise Sibeth.² He married Mary Lucy Sligo, daughter of Archibald Domonic Smith Sligo, on 20 November 1926.² He died on 4 January 1977 at age 85.²
     He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Army Service Corps.²

     Mary Lucy Sligo is the daughter of Archibald Domonic Smith Sligo.¹ She married Captain Bernard Francis Petre, son of Sebastian Henry Petre and Elise Sibeth, on 20 November 1926.¹

     Michael Henry Charles Petre was born in October 1930.² He is the son of Captain Bernard Francis Petre and Mary Lucy Sligo.^1,2 He married Christian Margaret Lilias MacIntyre, daughter of John Finch MacIntyre and Elspeth Mary Drummond, on 3 January 1959.¹ He and Christian Margaret Lilias MacIntyre were divorced in 1980.²
     He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Philosophy (D.Ph.) by University of Brasilia, Brasilia, Brazil, in 1965.²
