Florence Louisa Gibbs was the daughter of Samuel Mountford Gibbs. She married Colonel James Stevenson of Braidwood, son of Nathaniel Stevenson and Margaret Jane Scott, on 21 July 1885.1 She died on 4 August 1946.1

Major Samuel Delano Stevenson was born on 1 May 1886.1 He was the son of Colonel James Stevenson of Braidwood and Florence Louisa Gibbs.2 He married Bertha Gwladys Robinson Seaton, daughter of Richard Seaton, on 30 January 1915.1 He died on 17 August 1964 at age 78.1
He was educated at Tonbridge School, Tonbridge, Kent, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1908 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers in 1911.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Black Watch.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

Ivan James Delano Stevenson was born on 16 October 1916.1 He was the son of Major Samuel Delano Stevenson and Bertha Gwladys Robinson Seaton.2 He married, firstly, Lorna Abbay, daughter of Colonel Bryan Norman Abbay, on 15 February 1946.1 He and Lorna Abbay were divorced.1 He married, secondly, Marjorie (?) in December 1980.1 He died on 23 February 1998 at age 81.1
