     William Johnston was born in January 1762.¹ He was the son of John Johnston and Margaret Chalmers.² He married Catherine Morice, daughter of David Morice, on 24 October 1801.¹ He died on 24 February 1832 at age 70.¹

     David Morice held the office of Sheriff Substitute of Aberdeenshire.¹ He lived at Tullos, Kincardineshire, Scotland.¹

     Catherine Morice was the daughter of David Morice.² She married William Johnston, son of John Johnston and Margaret Chalmers, on 24 October 1801.¹ She died on 25 March 1855.¹
     From 24 October 1801, her married name became Johnston.

     Robert Johnston was born on 16 December 1810.¹ He was the son of William Johnston and Catherine Morice.² He married Mary Hadden, daughter of George Hadden, on 7 July 1835.¹ He died on 24 February 1887 at age 76.¹

     George Hadden lived at London, England.¹

     Mary Hadden was the daughter of George Hadden.² She married Robert Johnston, son of William Johnston and Catherine Morice, on 7 July 1835.¹ She died on 8 January 1872.¹
     From 7 July 1835, her married name became Johnston.
