Sir John Auld Mactaggart, 4th Bt. was born on 21 January 1951.2 He is the son of Sir Ian John Auld Mactaggart, 3rd Bt. and Rosemary Williams.2 He married, thirdly, Helena Wilhelmina van der Kun, daughter of Joost Lodewijk van der Kun and Adrienne Jeanne Flugi van Aspermont.3 He married, firstly, Patricia Gordon, daughter of Major Harry Alastair Gordon, on 20 May 1977.2 He and Patricia Gordon were divorced in 1990.2 He married, secondly, Caroline Emma Williams, daughter of Eric Charles Williams, on 17 March 1991.2
He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was chairman of Central and City Holdings in 1981.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Mactaggart, of King's Park, City of Glasgow [U.K., 1938] on 27 January 1987.1 He was diector ofr Scottish Ballet in 1988.2 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (F.R.I.C.S.)2 He lived in 2003 at Ardmore House, Ardtalla Estate, Islay, Argyllshire, ScotlandG.2

David George Staveley Penny, 3rd Viscount Marchwood was born on 22 May 1936.2 He was the son of Peter George Penny, 2nd Viscount Marchwood and Pamela Colton-Fox.2 He married, firstly, Tessa Jane Norris, daughter of Wilfred Francis Norris, on 26 September 1964.2 He married, secondly, Sylva Kathleen Bastin, daughter of Maj.-Gen. George Edward Restalic Bastin and Frances Gwendoline Ursula Venning, on 13 December 2001.2 He died on 3 October 2022 at age 86.3
