Robert Isham was the son of Euseby Isham and Anne Pulton.2 He died on 5 May 1564.1
He graduated from Christ's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1542 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was the Rector between 1548 and 1564 at Pytchley, Northamptonshire, England.1 He held the office of Prebendary of Peterborough between 1553 and 1559.1 He was Chaplain to Queen Mary.1 In 1559/60 they bought from Sir William Cecil the Manor and advowson of Lamport, with John later inheriting Robert's share.1
