     Margaret Brodie was the daughter of James Brodie of Muiresk.2 She married Sir James Innes of Coxton, 4th Bt., son of Sir George Innes of Coxton, 2nd Bt. and Jean Gordon.1 She died on 17 October 1756.1
     Her married name became Innes.

     Sir David Innes of Coxton, 5th Bt. was the son of Sir James Innes of Coxton, 4th Bt. and Margaret Brodie.2 He died from 8 October 1803 to 9 October 1803, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Marines.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Innes, of Coxton, co. Moray [N.S., 1686] on 3 June 1790.1
