     Kentigern Mungo Huntar of Hunterston and of that Ilk was the son of Robert Huntar of Hunterston and of that Ilk and Janet Montgomerie.2 He married Marion Hamilton, daughter of James Hamilton, 3rd of Torrance.1 He died on 10 September 1547 at Pinkie, Midlothian, Scotland, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Battle of Pinkie on 10 September 1547.1
