S/Ldr. David James Hughes-Morgan was born on 26 February 1903.1 He was the son of Sir David Hughes-Morgan, 1st Bt. and Blanche Elizabeth Wedge Buckley.2 He married Lilian Evelyn Windsor-Richards, daughter of John Windsor-Richards, on 17 April 1935.1 He died on 8 April 1967 at age 64.1
He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force.1
