Andrea Joss was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Cecil Alexander Joss.1 She married, firstly, Major Stuart Whitehead.1 She married, secondly, G. J. W. Kent.1 She married, thirdly, Sidney Arthur Robin George Drogo Montagu, 11th Duke of Manchester, son of Alexander George Francis Drogo Montagu, 10th Duke of Manchester and Nell Vere Stead, on 25 August 1978.1 She died on 21 January 1996.1

Lt.-Col. Cecil Alexander Joss was born on 7 July 1914 at Warlingham, Surrey, England.2 He was the son of Alexander Rule Joss and Enid Mary King.2 He married, firstly, Jill Standring, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. J. W. M. Standring, in 1941.2 He married, secondly, Joan Madeleine Easton, daughter of R. A. Easton, on 27 April 1950.2 He died in September 1991 at age 77 at Yeovil, Somerset, England.2
He was educated at Lancing College, Lancing, Sussex, England.2 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant on 6 July 1939.2 He gained the rank of Temporary Captain on 9 December 1941.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) on 23 August 1945.1 He gained the rank of Major on 16 September 1949.2 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) on 21 April 1950.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel on 10 January 1953.2 He gained the rank of Colonel on 10 January 1956.2
