     Caroline Coffin was born in 1785.2 She was the daughter of General John Coffin and Ann Mathews.1,3 She married Charles William Grant, 5th Baron de Longueuil, son of Captain David Alexander Grant and Marie Charles Joseph le Moyne, Baroness de Longueuil, in 1813.1 She died on 2 June 1868.2
     From 1813, her married name became Grant.1

     General John Coffin was born circa 1751 at Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.3 He was the son of Nathaniel Coffin and Elizabeth Barnes.1,3 He married Ann Mathews on 21 October 1781.3 He died on 12 May 1838 at Westfield, New Brunswick, Canada.3
     He fought in the American War of Independence.3 He gained the rank of Major on 28 August 1782 in the King's American Regiment.3 He held the office of Member, House of Assembly [New Brunswick] between 1785 and 1810.3 He held the office of Member of Council [New Brunswick] between 1812 and 1828.3 He gained the rank of General on 12 August 1819.3

     Admiral Sir Isaac Coffin, 1st Bt. was born on 16 May 1759 at Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.3 He was the son of Nathaniel Coffin and Elizabeth Barnes.1,4 He married Elizabeth Browne Greenly, daughter of William Greenly, on 4 April 1811.3 He died on 23 July 1839 at age 80.3
     He gained the title of 1st Baronet Coffin on 19 May 1804. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ilchester between 1818 and 1826.3 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Hanoverian Order (G.C.H.) in 1832.3

     Captain David Alexander Grant was born in 1753.2 He was the son of David Grant.1 He married Marie Charles Joseph le Moyne, Baroness de Longueuil, daughter of Charles Jacques le Moyne, 3rd Baron de Longueuil and Marie Anne Catherine Fleury d'Eschambault, on 7 May 1781.1 He died in 1806.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 84th Regiment.1

     Marie Charles Joseph le Moyne, Baroness de Longueuil was born in 1756.1 She was the daughter of Charles Jacques le Moyne, 3rd Baron de Longueuil and Marie Anne Catherine Fleury d'Eschambault.1 She married Captain David Alexander Grant, son of David Grant, on 7 May 1781.1 She died on 17 January 1841.1
     She succeeded as the 4th Baroness de Longueuil, of Longueuil, in the province of Quebec, Canada [Quebec, 1700] in 1756.1 From 7 May 1781, her married name became Grant.1

     Charles Jacques le Moyne, 3rd Baron de Longueuil was born on 26 July 1724 at Castle LongueuilG.1 He was the son of Charles le Moyne, 2nd Baron de Longueuil and Catherine Charlotte de Grey.1 He married Marie Anne Catherine Fleury d'Eschambault on 7 January 1754.1 He died on 27 September 1755 at age 31, killed in action.1
     He was awarded the Knight of St. Louis of France.1 He fought in the Seven Years' War.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron de Longueuil, of Longueuil, in the province of Quebec, Canada [Quebec, 1700] on 17 January 1755.1

     Charles le Moyne, 2nd Baron de Longueuil was born on 18 October 1687.1 He was the son of Charles le Moyne, 1st Baron de Longueuil and Claude Elizabeth Souart d'Adocourt.1 He married Catherine Charlotte de Grey on 29 April 1728.1 He died on 17 January 1755 at age 67.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baron de Longueuil, of Longueuil, in the province of Quebec, Canada [Quebec, 1700] on 7 June 1729.1 He held the office of Governor of Montreal.1 He was awarded the Cross of St. Louis of France.1

     Charles le Moyne, 1st Baron de Longueuil was born in 1656.1 He was the son of Charles le Moyne and Catherine Primot.1 He married, firstly, Claude Elizabeth Souart d'Adocourt.1 He married, secondly, Marie Marguerite le Gardene de Tilly on 17 September 1727.1 He died on 7 June 1729 at Saratoga, New York, U.S.A.G, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Siege of Quebec.1 He fought in the Iroquois War.1 He was awarded the Cross of St. Louis of France.1 He was created 1st Baron de Longueuil, of Longueuil, in the province of Quebec, Canada [Quebec] on 26 January 1700, by King Louis XIV.1 He held the office of Governor of Montreal in 1724.1
