     Reverend Edward Serocold Pearce-Serocold is the son of William Pearce and Anne Serocold. He married, firstly, Georgina Elizabeth Smith, daughter of George Smith and Frances Mary Mosley. He married, secondly, Charlotte Eleanor Vansittart, daughter of Arthur Vansittart and Hon. Caroline Eden, on 4 August 1842.¹
     He was given the name of Edward Serocold Pearce at birth.

     Gladys Heppenheimer was the daughter of General W. C. Heppenheimer.¹ She married, secondly, Robert Gilbert Vansittart, 1st and last Baron Vansittart, son of Robert Arnold Vansittart and Susan Alice Blane, on 7 September 1921.¹ She died on 3 July 1928.¹
     Her married name became Robinson Duff.¹ From 7 September 1921, her married name became Vansittart.¹

     General W. C. Heppenheimer lived at New Jersey, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Hon. Cynthia Vansittart was born on 31 December 1922.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Gilbert Vansittart, 1st and last Baron Vansittart and Gladys Heppenheimer.¹ She married, firstly, Frederick Crocker Whitman, son of Malcolm D. Whitman, on 9 January 1942.¹ She and Frederick Crocker Whitman were divorced in 1954.¹ She married, secondly, Edward H. MacKay, Jr. in 1956.² She died on 29 March 2023 at age 100 at San Francisco, California, U.S.A.²
     From 9 January 1942, her married name became Whitman.¹ From 1956, her married name became MacKay.²

     Frederick Crocker Whitman was born in 1913.² He was the son of Malcolm D. Whitman. He married Hon. Cynthia Vansittart, daughter of Robert Gilbert Vansittart, 1st and last Baron Vansittart and Gladys Heppenheimer, on 9 January 1942.¹ He and Hon. Cynthia Vansittart were divorced in 1954.¹ He died on 7 September 2004.²
     He was president and chief executive officer of the St. Francis Investment Co. in 1983.²

     Charles Cheers Wakefield, 1st and last Viscount Wakefield was born on 12 December 1859.¹ He was the son of John Wakefield and Mary Cheers.¹ He married Sarah Frances Graham, daughter of John Graham, on 17 February 1888.¹ He died on 15 January 1941 at age 81, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Liverpool Institute, Liverpool, Lancashire, England^G.¹ He was founder of C.C. Wakefield & Company, dealer in lubricating oils and appliances, including 'Castrol' in 1899.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of the City of London between 1907 and 1908.¹ He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1908.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Wakefield [U.K.] on 16 February 1917.¹ He was created 1st Baron Wakefield of Hythe, co. Kent [U.K.] on 20 January 1930.¹ He succeeded as the 1st Viscount Wakefield [U.K.] on 28 June 1934.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.) in 1936.¹

     John Wakefield was born on 7 June 1825.¹ He was the son of Thomas Wakefield and Juliana Carwithen.¹ He married Mary Cheers, daughter of William Cheers, on 25 December 1847.¹ He died on 6 August 1890 at age 65.¹
     He was with HM Customs.¹ He lived at Wavertree Vale, Lancashire, England^G.¹

     Thomas Wakefield was born in August 1800.¹ He married Juliana Carwithen in 1824.¹ He died on 17 April 1860 at age 59.¹
