     Charles John Shore, 2nd Baron Teignmouth was born on 13 January 1796.¹ He was the son of John Shore, 1st Baron Teignmouth and Charlotte Cornish.^1,2 He married Caroline Browne, daughter of William Browne and Catherine Stewart, on 8 December 1838.¹ He died on 18 September 1885 at age 89.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Shore, of Heathcote, co. Derby [G.B., 1792] on 14 February 1834.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Teignmouth [I., 1798] on 14 February 1834.¹
