Rachel Audrey Campbell.1 He married Mary Elizabeth Gibbs, daughter of Lt.-Col. Ralph Crawley-Boevey Gibbs and Dorothy Elizabeth Houldsworth, on 6 June 1946.2 He died on 21 October 1958 at age 40.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated in 1939 at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment (Territorial Army.)1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1943, where he was wounded.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Yorkshire.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1943.1 He was registered as a Associate, Institute of Chartered Accountants (A.C.A.) in 1947.1 He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.1 He succeeded as the 16th Baronet Macdonald, of Sleat, in the Isle of Skye, co.
