     Lady Christine Daphne Hay was born on 29 March 1919.1 She was the daughter of William George Montagu Hay, 11th Marquess of Tweeddale and Marguerite Christine Ralli.1 She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. David Morley-Fletcher, son of Bernard Morley Morley-Fletcher and Gertrude Maud Butler, on 12 June 1939.1 She and Lt.-Col. David Morley-Fletcher were divorced in 1947.1 She married Lt.-Col. Francis Robert Cameron Stewart, son of Sir Francis Hugh Stewart, on 22 July 1957.2 She died on 25 July 2000 at age 81.1
     Lady Christine Daphne Hay usually went by her middle name of Daphne.1 From 12 June 1939, her married name became Morley-Fletcher.1 From 22 July 1957, her married name became Stewart.2

     Lt.-Col. David Morley-Fletcher was born in 1910 at Kensington, London, England.2 He was the son of Bernard Morley Morley-Fletcher and Gertrude Maud Butler.1,2 He married Lady Christine Daphne Hay, daughter of William George Montagu Hay, 11th Marquess of Tweeddale and Marguerite Christine Ralli, on 12 June 1939.1 He and Lady Christine Daphne Hay were divorced in 1947.1 He died on 15 April 1971.1
     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Rifle Brigade.1
