     Anthony Freskin Charles Hamby Chaplin, 3rd Viscount Chaplin was born on 14 December 1906.¹ He was the son of Eric Chaplin, 2nd Viscount Chaplin and Hon. Gwladys Alice Gertrude Wilson.¹ He married, firstly, Alvilde Bridges, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir George Tom Molesworth Bridges and Janet Florence Menzies, on 9 January 1933.¹ He and Alvilde Bridges were divorced in 1950.² He married, secondly, Hon.
