     Alexander Maynard Hazlerigg was born on 23 June 1914 at Sri Lanka.1,2 He was the son of Grey Hazlerigg and Sarah Dorothy Whetstone.1 He died in July 1997 at age 83 at Worthing, Sussex, England.2
     He was educated at Lewes County School, Lewes, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He was with the Colonial Civil Service Jamaica in 1935.1 He was Sub-Inspector of Constabulary, Trinidad in 1937.1

     Thomas Maynard Hazlerigg was born in 1882.1 He was the son of Reverend Grey Hazlerigg and Sarah Ann Clarke.1 He married, firstly, Violet Isabella Price, daughter of H. J. Price, in 1905.1 He married, secondly, Gladys May Cotton, daughter of T. Cotton, in 1941.1 He died on 6 November 1961.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He was a practising solicitor.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.1 He fought in the Russian Civil War.1 He was Assistant Crown Solicitor,Hong Kong in 1920.1 He was Registrar of the Supreme Court in 1929.1 He was Crown Solicitor in 1935.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1946.1 He held the office of Member of the Legislative Counil (M.LC.) [Hong Kong] between 1946 and 1947.1 He was Special Advisor to the Government between 1946 and 1947.1

     Diana Margaret Hazlerigg was born on 3 January 1914.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Maynard Hazlerigg and Violet Isabella Price.1 She married Robert Edward Hope-Falkner, son of Lt.-Col. Percy Hope-Falkner, on 14 March 1946.1 She died on 4 December 1977 at age 63.1
     From 14 March 1946, her married name became Hope-Falkner.
